HMI conducted an advocate meeting to the office of the Ogun State commissioner for health who was represented by Dr. Shoyinka, Director of Public Health Services (middle) in the state to influence the stakeholders decision on issues relating to sparse distribution of PHCs and inadequate trained health care personell in the state. Dr. Shoyinka promised to present the advocacy brief as well as feed the commissioner back on the visit, so actions can be taken on the concerns raised by the team.

In commemoration of the World Diabetes Day- Global Diabetes Walk Health Matters Incorporated joined other over 150 countries and organizations around the world to organize a global diabetes walk.
